a 2nd preview of Lauren Conrad on Family Guy

May 1, 2009 Author: admin | Filed under: Celebrity News

There was a time when being animated into “The Simpsons” was the cultural badge of honor celebrities aspired to. Although I still tune into Springfield’s first family every week, let’s face it, it ain’t what it used to be. These days visiting the Griffins of Quahog, Rhode Island, is where it’s at.

So it should come as no surprise whatsoever that the first lady of “The Hills,” Lauren Conrad is stopping by this Sunday night.

From the clips on Hulu.com and the most amazing preview ever on the official FOX site (which isn’t snaggable… what’s up with that?), we learn that Lauren and Brian Griffin (yeah, the dog) date and apparently fall in love. Lucky dog! Or is he just trying to get over Jillian (voiced on several occasions by Drew Barrymore)?

I don’t think I have to tell you it’s on FOX Sunday night at 9 p.m. and, as always, viewer discretion is advised.

19 Celebrity who we think had plastic surgery

May 1, 2009 Author: admin | Filed under: Celebrity News

As a general rule we think it’s best not to listen to rumours of course, especially those that might hint that our favourite, most precious celebs may possibly have had - shock, horror! - a little helping hand in the cosmetic surgery department!

Gwen Stefani

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Aw, look at lovely Gwen Stefani with her sparkly bits and nice blue hair. She looks the picture of innocence at the 1998 MTV Music Awards…

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

and here’s our gorgeous Gwen in March 2009 at day 2 of the 5th Annual K-Swiss Desert Smash Charity Celebrity Tennis Event. It’s possible that her eyes look a little wider perhaps, and maybe even her nose a little straighter? If she has had any surgery then it’s certainly been kept to a minimum, but to great effect! Kenny Rogers

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Here’s Kenny Rogers in 1997, looking happy and comfortable in his face which, for a man of 50+ years, just goes to show he’s wearing well…

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

hold on though. Ten years later and here’s Kenny Rogers at the CMT Awards and - is it just us, or has something changed somewhere along the line? There’s something about his eyes, and maybe his forehead that just looks a bit… hmm. We can’t seem to put our finger on it, can you?

Victoria Beckham

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Victoria Beckham, the ‘Posh’ Spice Girl and professional football WAG, with her fantastic cheekbones has always been on the ‘petite’ side, physically speaking - here she is at the VH1 Vogue Fashion awards in 2000…

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

… fast forward to last year and - whoa there Victoria! The cheekbones are still as prominent as ever, but there’s a couple of other feminine attributes that we can’t help but notice have a little more ‘presence’ than we’d previously observed!

Janet Jackson

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Janet Jackson in her twenties, in 1985. You can really see the family resemblance to her somewhat more famous brother at the time can’t you? Those ‘come hither’ doe-eyes, the beautiful softness of her features – maybe it gave something for Michael to aspire to

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Now, Janet still looks wonderful of course. There’s no doubt about that. But here she is last year - 23 years later in fact - and, well, she STILL looks like she’s in her twenties! Perhaps her nose may have been ‘on a diet’ or something as it seems, to us at least, to have lost a bit of weight somewhere along the line.

Clint Eastwood

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Here’s Clint Eastwood at the Academy awards in 2005, looking fantastic for his age, and still going strong. Although perhaps after years spent narrowing his eyes at people during his prolific film career we seem to have all but lost sight of them!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Ah, that’s better Clint. Spotted whilst attending Fouquet’s in Paris this February at the Cannes Film Festival President’s Tribute to the great man himself, we somehow seem to be able to get a much improved view of his pupils once again.

Donatella Versace

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Donatella Versace at the Vogue Fashion awards in 1997 looking as classy as ever, understated, not too much make-up but not too little either, and looking generally fabulous…

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

… and here’s Donatella again, a few months ago in Milan attending the Campari Calendar launch. Yes, you’re right, she does seem to be wearing a bit more make-up these days doesn’t she? That must be what it is…

Mickey Rourke

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Cheeky faced Mickey Rourke in 1994, looking a little rugged as ever naturally, but that was always part of his charm wasn’t it?

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

More recently, however, something sure seems to have changed about those previously rugged charms. We love you Mickey but where did your side-burns go? Don’t worry, if we find them we’ll send them back to you.

Lil Kim

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Lil Kim. Here she is in 2003 looking just fantastic, totally comfortable in her skin, as ‘all woman’ as ever and helping to remind people that curves are cute and that women are supposed to have a figure, right? Right!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

A couple of months ago at the ‘Faces of Fashion Week’ in New York, Lil Kim turns up, with her famously fullsome figure intact and - hey, hang on a minute - that’s Lil Kim?! Really? You’re sure? No way, you ask her…

Pete Burns

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Do you remember Pete Burns from ‘Dead or Alive’? He did that song that you’ve danced to hundreds of times at nearly every party you’ve ever been to ‘You spin me right round baby, right round, like a record baby, right round etc.’ This is Pete around the time of his peak of fame in the eighties. He was a good looking fella with big hair, loads of make-up and a great voice with a catchy song too, all the right ingredients for the perfect 80’s pop star…

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

… Um, yes, this is Pete Burns too. Honestly, we’re not making it up. It’s just a more recent photo that’s all.

Jocelyn Wildenstein

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Now, it’s no secret to anyone in the world that Jocelyn Wildenstein has ‘has some work done’. But we just thought we’d include her here as a sort of ‘reference point’ really. Take note, Pete Burns.

- Which Celebrity do you suspect had some work done?

Obviously-

Beyonce:

Bey’s old nose:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Look at Golden-haired Beyonce Knowles - having her hair dyed and straighted, her lips redused and her nose narrowed she looks more like a Barbie doll, than an Black RNB singer. But let’s face it - her plastic surgeon did a great job, oops.. I mean a great nose job. Beyonce’s face looks very natural, as if she was born with that nose.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Jennifer Lopez has stepped back into the public eye and looks different. There are not many new pictures of her up close yet, but just wait until they surface. Her face looks ‘off’ to me, especially around her eyes. It is as if the top part of her fact has been pulled up. Her cheeks also look weirdly gaunt, a first for her.

Christina Aguilera-

“Think Angel tube (dress up like an angel with halo and wings), Kings Cross (an angry king), Wimbledon (a tennis-playing womble), Elephant and Castle (rubber trunk anyone?). You could always choose Shepherds Bush…!?!

Be creative with your outfits, remember the fans with the best costumes will meet Lily on the day.” http://creative.myspacecdn.com/uk/secretshow/secshoimg/tubemap.jpg

American Idol changes it up next week.

May 1, 2009 Author: admin | Filed under: Celebrity News

American Idol Pictures, Images and Photos

From TopIdol:

As I reported before, the Top 4 will be performing Rock songs next week.

However, I’ve also heard the ouvre will be limited to classic rock, i.e.,
songs of the 1970s-80s. Slash (!!!!) will also be the mentor, as originally
repoted by Idolator.

This week, the contestants WILL BE doing TWO songs, however…in another
twist differentiating this season’s Top 4 show from previous ones,
American Idol will be taking inspiration all those international editions of
Idol…

(And I have been hoping for this for soooooo long for some sick ass reason, I
swear. I have wanted to see this for some time on this shit show.)

The Top 4 will not only be performing solo renditions of classic rock songs from
the 1970s and 80s…the even number means there will be also be DUET
performances.

(I received this information from a very reliable source, BTW. Plus, what reason
do I have to yank anyone’s chain?)

As I said before, I have always wanted to see the kiddies perform duets on the
show. Probably because I am sick & twisted.

Jennifer Aniston looks pretty in purple as she arrives to the set of her new flick, The Baster, in New York City on Thursday (April 30).
The 40-year-old former Friends star appeared in good spirits and smiled for photographers!
She went with a sporty outfit yesterday with a tank-top and red training pants. The day before, she wore a backless dress and turned into the "lady in red"!

Supernatural SPOILERY Chat with Ben Edlund

May 1, 2009 Author: admin | Filed under: Celebrity News

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Ah, Thursday. It’s the best/worst day of TV, and one of the things that makes it such a pleasure/burden for us is the thrill of Supernatural, which (buried though it is in a grueling time slot with The Office, Grey’s Anatomy and CSI) continues to be one of the standouts of the night, and heck, of the week.

As SPN barrels toward its season-four finale, we thought it fit to chat up writer-producer Ben Edlund about what to expect. Read on to find out what he told us exclusively about Sam’s blood addiction finally catching up to him and about where Cas fits in to the series’ future…

Good or Evil? At this point, the question of Sam’s morality remains open, but Edlund reveals that Sammeh’s blood addiction has consequences that are out of his control: "The model of an addict bottoming out and becoming basically something else, almost a creature of reflex, is one of the things he’s going to have to face. And that’s going to make trouble for Dean and Sam - they don’t agree on this particular issue. Dean’s not happy about it." Creature of reflex, huh? Love the idea of a more animalistic Sam and of Dean having to do something about it!

Angel Baby: As promised late last year, Castiel (Misha Collins) will be a regular in season five, but Edlund says we don’t have to worry about the new addition throwing off the balance between the Winchesters. According to Edlund, "He’s not going to be Joe Pesci to Mel Gibson and Danny Glover in the back seat going, ‘Ah, guys! I’m hungry now! Let’s go eat!’. Cas already has his own mode of transportation - he already gets around pretty fast." Long story short, SPN didn’t turn into a wacky buddy comedy while you weren’t looking. Says Edlund, "I don’t imagine that it’s going to be three guys in a car with a baby. Although it’s good to throw something cute into season five. Maybe a puppy. Or an evil kitten that they keep in the glove box."(And we shall call that kitten Moe…)

The Dark Is Rising: According to Edlund, everything we’ve seen over this past, amazing season is really just a setup: "This season is a stage-setting season for next season," which, of course, is the war between dark and light. Says Edlund, "I don’t want to go too far into the details of what happens when two forces clash…Look at this season as buildup to something even bigger that, of course, I cannot talk about or [show runner] Eric [Kripke] would be mad at me." And who will be the enemies in that war? Per Edlund, "Lilith is still a problem. At least Sam and Dean are dealing with her presence in the world as a problem. This is a show about averting the Apocalypse."

The Big Guy: Lilith is still kicking around, but according to Edlund, it’s her boss who’s really the problem: "Lucifer is more of an awe-inspiring force. There’s such a massiveness to the power and the danger represented by that being. Insinuation will be our model." Basically, we’ll know he’s there, but we might not get to see him until the very end…

The Ladies: For those of you worried that Ruby and/or Anna will be hanging around more rather than less in season five, Edlund has some consoling words for you: For my own two cents, I don’t feel like this is a story about either of these two guys finding love. They’re not at that phase in their lives. It’s about two guys gearing up for and hoping to avert the Apocalypse. So dating is not utmost."

Source!

I feel the same way, Edlund. MYTHOS FOREVER.

Now somebody talk about tonight’s Supernatural. Cas and Dean are broken, Sam and Dean are broken, everybody’s angry, and holy shit for the next two weeks! Gonna cry when Sam walks out that door.
