Sophia Bush attends premiere of her new movie, The Narrows, at Bottino Italian restaurant located in Chelsea’s gallery district on Friday night (June 19) in New York City.

The Narrows is about a photography student from Brooklyn (Kevin Zegers, pictured below) who takes a job making deliveries for the local mob boss to help pay for classes at NYU. Sophia, 26, plays the character of Kathy Popovich, a beautiful, intellectual young woman he meets at NYU. The Narrows is currently in limited release.

The Daily Star reports that when Doctor Who changes from David Tennant to Matt Smith as the Timelord, one of his first challenges will be…

…to take on the Daleks.

An unnamed source remarked: “Fans may take a while to get used to Matt as the Doctor so it makes sense to have him fight his most famous enemies.”

The report also says that producers plan to rewind Matt Smith’s TARDIS back to blue walls and white windows to it look more like the 1960’s version. However, that’s about as nostalgic as it gets, since it has already been announced that the TARDIS makeover is aimed at creating the most ‘hi-tech and intricate’ TARDIS yet.

Matt Smith will take over the role of the 11th Doctor when David Tennant leaves in the Spring of 2010.

SPOILERS AHEAD: There are three weddings coming up. If you want to be surprised for the final episode with David Tennant at the helm – read no further.

Weddings will chime as three of the Doctor’s former sidekicks get married in the final episode of David Tennant’s reign. Yes, all of the Doctor’s former sidekicks will return for the farewell scenes.

Here come the really big spoilers – turn away quick if you don’t want to know:

Rose Tyler (Billie Piper) will marry the half-human clone of the Doctor in the parallel universe they live in.

Martha Jones (Freema Agyeman) will wed Mickey Smith (Noel Clarke).

And David Tennant will make a special guest appearance in the The Sarah Jane Adventures for Sarah Jane Smith’s wedding (Elisabeth Sladen), another former companion.

Donna Noble (Catherine Tate) will also return for the finale.

After the finale, Tennant will be replaced by 28 year old Matt Smith. But this is not the end for Tennant as Doctor Who. The Sun reports that Tennant has signed on for even more Doctor Who episodes – as a cartoon!

The Scots star has already recorded seven new animated shorts. They will also feature Tennant’s real-life girlfriend Georgia Moffett, who played the Doctor’s daughter in the 2008 series.

Russell said the six-minute episodes - called Dreamland - will feature “truly exotic aliens and locations, in a beautiful, rich script full of history and imagination”.

He added: “Voice recordings have already been completed - including David Tennant as the Doctor of course.

“And we’re delighted to welcome Georgia Moffett back to the fold.”

But Russell said the cartoon series would not see a return for the Doctor’s daughter - as Georgia, 24, will be playing a brand new character called Cassie Rice.

The series - which will air on CBBC - will be the second animated Who story to star Tennant. He appeared in The Infinite Quest two years ago.

Russell will give way to Steven Moffat as the show’s lead writer and executive producer in 2010. But he hinted at yet ANOTHER outing for Tennant as the Timelord.

He said: “With the Doctor’s appearance in The Sarah Jane Adventures as special project one, and the Dreamland animation as special project two, it would be nice to round things off for Doctor Who in 2009 with a special project three. We’re working on it.”

Rumours abound that Russell is working on a Doctor Who movie which could star Tennant.

Cameron Diaz to get star on Hollywood Walk of Fame; 2010 honorees Sandler, Crowe, Starr announced

Actress Cameron Diaz who stars in the upcoming drama My Sister’s Keeper coming out on June 26 will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday, June 22 at 11:30 am. This is the 2,386th star to be dedicated on the Walk of Fame and will be located in front of the historic Egyptian Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard. Nick Cassavetes who directed Diaz in My Sister’s Keeper will be the guest speaker.

Diaz made her feature film debut in the 1994 comedy The Mask and received her first Golden Globe nomination in 1999 for her performance in the smash hit There’s Something About Mary.

Meanwhile, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce just announced the 2010 recipients for the Walk of Fame. They include Russell Crowe, John Cusack, Adam Sandler, Jimmy Kimmel, Bill Maher, Bryan Adams, ZZ Top and Ringo Starr.

There are five categories that a recipient may be recognized in: Motion Pictures, Television, Radio, Recording or Live Theatre. A recent ceremony was held on June 8 for Kyra Sedgwick who received her star next to the star of her husband, Kevin Bacon

Tony Hawk has some massive ball bearings — dude was not only brave enough to mount his skateboard and shred the checkered tile of a White House hallway, he took photos of the daring act and then posted them on his Twitter page.

WASHINGTON – Hey, kids, don’t try this at home. Professional skateboarder Tony Hawk on Friday took a brief ride at the White House as part of a Father’s Day celebration.

Hawk, 41, skated in the grand foyer and the nearby Old Executive Office Building, with the permission of White House officials.

The skateboarding icon, also known for his popular brand of skateboarding video games, posted photos to his Web site and Twitter page.

One photo shows Hawk on his skateboard with his hands in the air in what appears to be a hallway.

"…and here is my exit," he wrote in a message on Twitter, which linked to a picture of him skating. "Supposed to return at noon for the First Fathers event if they let me back in."

Hawk posted other insights from his Washington visit on his Twitter page, telling fans about eating Frosted Flakes cereal inside the gates of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. In another tweet, he says "back at White House, Tweeting live from the Diplomatic Room. Unbelievable."

Hawk joined other dads, athletes and celebrities at a Father’s Day forum hosted by President Barack Obama. Celebrity chef Bobby Flay helped man the barbecue grills for a White House picnic for the attendees, which included NBA players Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat and Etan Thomas of the Washington Wizards.

"The Prez addressing all of us fathers before we split up to visit DC charities," Hawk tweeted. "D Wade & Etan T make me feel short."
