BradAngieBAFTA.jpgEven though they haven’t had much luck winning awards so far this year, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will get another chance to take home the prize at this year’s British Academy film awards.

Brad picked up a BAFTA nomination for best actor and his film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is up for a total of 11 awards - including best picture.

Angelina got the nod in the best actress category for Changeling. She’s up against double Golden Globe winner Kate Winslet - who is nominated twice in the BAFTA best actress category for her performances in The Reader and Revolutionary Road. Meryl Street and Kristin Scott Thomas round out the best actress competition.

In the best actor category, Pitt is joined by fellow nominees Dev Patel from Slumdog Millionaire; Sean Penn in Milk; Frank Langella for Frost/Nixon; and Mikey Rourke in The Wrestler.

The late Heath Ledger was nominated for best supporting actor for his role as The Joker in The Dark Knight.

The winners will be announced at London’s Royal Opera House on February 8th.
