Kimora Lee Simmons and Djimon Hounsou may have gotten married over the summer, but it’s probably not legal here in the US - at least not yet!

According to the NY Daily News, the Baby Phat mogul and the Oscar nominated hottie were “married” in a traditional African ceremony last summer while visiting Djimon’s native Benin, Africa.

“Both Kimora and Djimon wore traditional dashikis,” says the paper.

“She went whole hog with the African theme − there were African drums, a traditional ceremony with dancers . . . they even had a hut.” That definitely sounds like a Kimora Lee production, right?

One little catch to the festivities, which were attended by Kimora’s cute kids Aoki and Ming, she was still married to Russell Simmons at the time!! (That divorce was finalized in January 2009)

Details, right?

Well, now that Kimora’s officially divorced (not to mention totes preggers) the two are apparently planning to make it official here in the states.

Djimon has reportedly been spotted cruising the ring counter at a posh Beverly Hills jewelry store.

We’re sure they’re going to have a “Fabulous Life” together!!
