Contray to what was posted before, there is no solid confirmation that Jason Dean Bennison has been fired from INXS.

On 16 February 2009, JD revealed in an interview with Entertainment Tonight Canada that INXS fired him from the band with a shake of the hand at an airport in Hong Kong. The band is once again without a frontman and their new album indefinitely put on hold. JD is back to living out of his car (pickup truck) and saving/stealing every dime to try and get his solo album out ("Death of a motivational speaker"). He said he’s been off of all drugs including cocaine for the past 2 years.

NOTE: The above post is not 100% verifiable - as required for inclusion on Wikipedia. The status of JD Fortune and INXS cannot be independently confirmed at this time. The ET interview did not use the word "fired" and there was no mention that the band was "without a frontman" or that "their album was indefinitely put on hold." In fact, there was no mention whatsoever about the future of INXS or INXS albums. This calls the accuracy of the above post into question. Without confirmation from the band’s publicist, the post appears to be premature, based upon limited sound bites which could be taken out of context. The second part of the interview airs tonight, February 17. Reserve judgment until all the facts are released.

I don’t believe he’s been kicked out until INXS confirms it. it doesn’t add up. i’m thinking it’s a joke or something. oh well i’ll wait until INXS says anything.
