Lady GaGa has scrapped plans to release ‘LoveGame’ as her third UK single, according to a report.

The video for the track was banned in Australia earlier this week due to concerns over its suggestive lyrics, which include: "I want to take a ride on your disco stick".

The American singer has reportedly decided that a similar row in the UK could ruin her chances of scoring a third number one. According to The Sun, she will now release ‘Paparazzi’ instead.

An insider told the newspaper: "For your first two UK singles to go to number one is amazing and we would like to try and carry that on."
GaGa’s debut single ‘Just Dance’ topped the UK singles chart in January, while her next offering ‘Poker Face’ followed suit last month.

Her album The Fame also recently topped the UK albums chart for the first time.
