Madonna and Guy Ritchie both want a New York court to declare their child-custody deal official, according to the NY Daily News.

On Friday night, Madonna filed papers in Manhattan requesting that their joint-custody deal be declared “legally binding” in the states. It’s not likely that Madonna would have gone ahead and done this if she didn’t have Guy’s approval, so hopefully everyone’s happy about this!

Under the custody agreement, Rocco, age 8, and David, age 3 must remain kosher, attend synagogue on Fridays and Saturdays and receive an upgraded Internet connection at Ritchie’s English country estate.
