Rat Pack Standards!!!! More songs for really really really old people! And that song list will be a short one. No word on whether the kids will switch to a two-song format… Plus, the freaking Powers That Be do the right thing and invite Season 5 winner, Taylor Hicks back to the Idol stage for Wednesday’s results show to perform his next single, the most excellent “Seven Mile Breakdown” from his new, independently produced album, The Distance. so next we are going to hear then since 2 songs. Somwhere Out there Von Smith is crying
Next week, the Top 5 finalists – Kris Allen, Matt Giraud, Danny Gokey, Allison Iraheta and Adam Lambert – take the stage again Tuesday, April 28 (8:00-9:01 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) to perform standards made famous by members of the original Rat Pack, a group of legendary performers that included Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr.
