Transformers star Shia LaBeouf’s driver’s license was suspended on Saturday, a result of his refusal to take a Breathalyzer test after his July car accident, E! News reports.

According to California law, your license can be suspended for up to a year if a breath, blood or urine test is refused when an officer suspects you are intoxicated.

Shia’s suspension was automatic, even though the actor was cleared of any wrong doing when it was found that the other driver was responsible for the crash at a Hollywood intersection that severely injured his hand.

LaBeouf’s attorney didn’t comment on the suspension.
